Maverick Construction Underway

Be sure to also check out the webcam of Frontier Trail on Cedar Point's website which allows you to witness the construction site for yourself. Keep yourself updated on the progress by watching the webcam any chance you get. Also, it is now official that the heartline twist that follows the tunnel will be removed and be replaced by an "s-curve" track. This is still nice but definitely does not compare to the heartline. I guess souvenirs, press releases and the big sign in front of the ride all need to be changed now. Also, it helps to watch the animations on Cedar Point's website to know what exactly is being replaced. You can definitely tell it would be extreme for riders. Check it out by clicking here. The heartline is in between the rock walls right after the train launches out of the tunnel and makes it's way over the pond.
